Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, which offered clean and comfortable rooms and a friendly atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby rainforest and enjoying various activities. However, the dining options could improve as the quality was inconsistent, and some meals were overpriced. Additionally, the amenities like the pool were nice but could use a little more attention for a more luxurious feel.
I spent four nights in the Junior Rainforest Suite at Wyndham Rio Mar during spring break, and overall, it was a very nice experience. The room was spacious and the bathrooms felt luxurious, but I did notice that it could get a bit noisy at times. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, being both helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. However, I found the dining options to be quite pricey and not very impressive, which was a letdown. Still, the resort itself contributed to a relaxing experience, with plenty of amenities to enjoy.
I recently stayed at this resort and while there were some great aspects, there were also a few drawbacks. The location right by the beach is a huge plus, especially for families. The rooms were clean and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. However, the dining options really didn’t live up to expectations and left me a bit disappointed. I also found the additional fees for Wi-Fi and other amenities to be a bit frustrating.
I had a really nice stay at this hotel, which was overall a comfortable experience. The rooms were well-kept and spacious, although my view from the room wasn't the greatest. The staff was incredibly kind and made efforts to accommodate us, even bringing chairs from the beach to the pool. However, I felt that the dining could have offered more variety to make it even better. Despite this, the amenities like the pool and the overall vibe were quite enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The room smelled damp and left my clothes with an unpleasant odor for the entire day, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend the junior suites due to their limited views. On the bright side, the concierge services and bartenders were generally accommodating, but the dining experience left much to be desired with no real restaurants nearby. I found the location close to the rainforest great for nature lovers, but not ideal for dining options.
